The Slovak company Spinergo a.s., which produces chairs in its Prešov plant that eliminate the effects of unhealthy sitting, brought home a Gold Medal from the International Furniture Contracting Fair in Poznan this month. Exhibitors from more than 60 countries took part in this year’s event, with more than 25,000 visitors curious about their displays.

The top model of the product portfolio, the SPINERGO Manager office chair with the patented Move&Stop system of the second generation, was awarded by the expert jury of this prestigious European furniture fair with the Gold Medal in the Novelty category. This is the first such award of European importance in the history of the Slovak manufacturer Spinergo.

The expert jury particularly appreciated the innovative approach to the issue of healthy sitting. Thanks to the patented and clinically tested Move&Stop system, sitting on SPINERGO chairs is comfortable at all times, as the special seats allow movement in all directions. Sitting is dynamic, which continuously strengthens the back muscles and shapes a healthy posture. Simply put, the chair can adapt to the requirements of the spine.

When sitting on Spinergo chairs, the muscles surrounding the spine are always active, which can be tiring for some people. In this case, you can stop the movement of the seat at any time, which is also recommended by experts. You should stop the seat movement several times during the day for about 20 minutes using the “stop” function. Especially in the first few days of sitting in an ergonomic chair, the body needs to get used to the new way of sitting. However, the strain associated with dynamic seating will also be appreciated later by patients with a damaged spine or after surgery.

The interesting thing is that when you sit, you are not only strengthening your back muscles, but also your abdominal muscles.
